Since our taproom's inception we've had a little sign sitting quietly behind the bar. It reads, "What Good Shall I Do This Day?" It served as a reminder to everyone from our taproom staff to patrons that we are all incomplete. We should never be complacent and should always be striving to do better.
"For what are we born if not to aid one another?" - Ernest Hemingway
We decided we wanted this sign to hang forever at The Bavarian Lodge because without the support of our most talented and loyal friends none of the experiences centered around our beer would be possible. And without those, what the hell are we really doing for all of you?
Sometimes at the brewery we listen to rock and sometimes we listen to rap. On occasion you might hear some jazz, pop, or a splash of early punk. The important thing to realize is that we’re always lively. Always accomplishing something. Always planning for what we hope will not be your favorite new thing, or the brewery’s favorite new thing, but our favorite thing together. Never complacent and always adapting. Changing the world, probably. These are those stories.
