The fine crew of Nobel House – Glen Ellyn will be on the grill, we’ll have an expanded outdoor area so you can spread your wings, and all weekend long we’ll be offering $2 beers for any active/retired military veterans. No ticket is required and see below for our complete release details for the day. Start your holiday with us and hit SOB on your way out of town for some fresh, unique offerings.
It’s a beer release but basically we’re just hanging out with some friends. A bunch of awesome collabs we’re excited to share and super fresh beers from two of our favorite breweries in Pipeworks and Hop Butcher. We’ll have limited draft and package of everything and it’s our declaration that summer has officially begun.
Fermentator Problem Solved
IPA, SOB/Pipeworks Brewing Co. Collaboration
This first collaboration between us and fellow Class of 2012 vets Pipeworks is a double dry-hopped IPA featuring El Dorado, Experimental hop 06277, mango, and that Hothead Kviek yeast on an oated bed. The label also features a former SOB who departed for the Pipeworks crew lifting a dumbbell while riding a unicorn alongside a ninja. You know who you are.
IPA, SOB/Hop Butcher For the World Collaboration
The rise of our friends at Hop Butcher has been something we have loved to see across Chicagoland. Jude, Jeremiah, and Justin make some of the most kick-ass hop-forward beers on the planet. This collab features flaked oats, oat malt, and a little bit of wheat for a grist before diving head first into a Mosaic, Amarillo, and BRU-1 hopped creation. We are stoked to share this with it’s alternating labels between our very own Jourdon Gullett and the incredible work of Hop Butcher’s Dan Grzeca. More on the story of this beer and its name inspiration to come.
Lü 12 Packs
Kölsch, Solemn Oath Brewery
A beer born out of a need for us as brewers to enjoy in between our hop-driven creations has led to a tidal wave of sessionable force. Now available in 12-packs.
Oat IPA, Pipeworks Brewing Co./Hop Butcher For the World Collaboration
Surely there is fire when two hop-driven heavyweights come together for an Oat IPA foundation built on Citra, Chinook, and Cryo Ekuanot hops.
Pale Ale, Pipeworks Brewing Co./Folksbier Brauerei Collaboration
A spelt and oat malt Pale with Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops in collaboration with one of NYC’s most incredible and inspiring brewers in Folksbier.
Ninja vs Unicorn
Double India Pale Ale, Pipeworks Brewing Co
A gamechanger and crowning jewel in the Chicago scene this unfiltered Double IPA needs little introduction. We will have it here absurdly fresh for your Memorial Day needs.
Super Deep in the Groove
Double India Pale Ale, Hop Butcher For the World/Resident Culture Collaboration
If you pay attention to beer you’re paying attention to Resident Culture Brewing. These two have paired up for a Citra and Triumph Double India Pale Ale that is bound to turn some heads.
Galaxy Bowl Riff
Milkshake Double IPA, Hop Butcher For the World
Citra and Galaxy hops with passionfruit, peaches, and vanilla make up this wild experience into the citrus.
Things get going at noon and the grill will be rocking with classic Americana from the crew at Nobel House – Glen Ellyn. We’ll be serving beers outside under the sunshine.
It’s Memorial Day Weekend. Start it early and finish it late. We hope you stay safe and enjoy your friends and family this weekend.
That’s it. Let us know if you have any questions by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, hitting us up on Twitter, or we are still waiting to receive our first sky-written question.
The goal we have at Solemn Oath is simple. And maybe someday you will figure out what that goal really is. We’re going to change the world, probably. Enjoy.
