“I look forward to joining the talented team at Solemn Oath,” said Mason. “Right now, we have a number of new and cool things planned for the year ahead. It’s an exciting time for the brewery and for me personally and professionally. I’m ready to get to work.”
Mason, who grew up in Naperville, will oversee all aspects of beer production and packaging while focusing on both established and incoming Solemn Oath beers.
"We're thrilled to have Andrew and his unique blend of experience in the building as we take our next steps as a brewery," says John Barley, President of Solemn Oath Brewery. "We are very proud of what we have accomplished since we opened in 2012 and as we continue to grow. We are excited about what Andrew adds to our future."
Mason has been brewing professionally in Chicagoland since 2005. He previously attended Chicago's own Siebel Institute of Technology, a global leader in brewing education and the oldest brewing school in the Americas.
Sometimes at Solemn Oath we listen to rock and sometimes we listen to rap. On occasion you might hear some jazz, pop, or a splash of early punk. The important thing to realize is that we’re always lively. Always accomplishing something. Always planning for what we hope will not be your favorite new thing, or the brewery’s favorite new thing, but our favorite thing together. Never complacent and always adapting. Changing the world, probably. For more information, visit www.solemnoathbrewery.com.
