We have a lot planned in a short window but the main principle of Saturday, March 4 is to have a good time. This beer is not available for pre-sale and will be available while supplies last. Keep in mind that all of our beer is unfiltered and unpasteurized. Keep these beers cold and drink them fresh.
If you have questions tweet us at @solemnoathbeer. This is what’s up.
Note that we have a separate space for bottle pickup and for the release party. Please enter through the Taproom. Bottle sales start at 10AM and if you're a member of The Old Order you have a two hour exclusive party for you and a guest from 10AM-12PM. You can always snag your allocation after you hang for a few hours for the release party, or if you're interested in grabbing an additional bottle get in there beforehand. The choice is yours.
About This Beer: This Frankenstein of a barrel-aged beer is designed to showcase the art of blending toward a flavor profile. Roast from the stout is modulated by sweetness from Scotch ale, which is attenuated by the still firm bitterness of barleywine. The result is a supremely rich, more-than-full-bodied beer bearing the trademark flavors of a long residence in bourbon barrels--toasted coconut, vanilla, oak.

Karyenda supplies a bright fruity character reminiscent of pomegranate and muscatel.
About This Beer: This coffee adds just as much structure to this beer as flavor. Using such a prized coffee in an intensely hoppy and bitter beer is, we admit, quite indulgent; though we think the results will demonstrate the value of such an exercise. This beer is prickly, dry, and refined with a flavor that evolves from bready malt and chocolatey roast, to candied citrus hop flavor, pungent coffee and hop aromatics reminiscent of a machine shop that was skunked a week ago, and finally a firm hop bitterness with lingering coffee sweetness.
About This Beer: Scotch ale is as close to dessert as you'll get with a beer. Richly supplied with caramel and toffee sweetness from premium Scottish malts and an eight-hour boil, aging in bourbon barrels brings out raisin and cinnamon, and the coffee offers red apple, orange marmalade, and rose hips.
About This Beer: Another intensely sweet beer loaded with caramel flavors, this time from Maris Otter malt and an extended boil. This bright coffee combines with malt and barrel flavors to produce a candied peanut and cotton candy impression that will have you kissing the bearded lady in no time.
About This Beer: Combining Most Important Beverage with the sweet toffee, vanilla, and coconut flavors that come from aging beer in freshly emptied, high-quality bourbon barrels yields a decadent and layered flavor experience that brings the "breakfast beer" concept home with this loving allusion to Irish coffee.
The goal we have at Solemn Oath is simple. And maybe someday you will figure out what that goal really is. We’re going to change the world, probably. Enjoy.
