Chicagoland is our home, but my brother Joe and I grew up about sixteen miles north of Milwaukee. For us, bringing SOB home to Wisconsin, maintaining that personal connection to where we're from, and, above all, doing it well have always been high on our priorities.
We chose to enter the Wisconsin market in a similar way to when we came to market in Illinois--focused on a small number of accounts and taking on manageable growth from there. It’s not enough for us to just sell our beer, we have always made sure to sell our beer to the right places. We want to partner with accounts that get what it is that we’re trying to do, those that have as much passion as we do in what they’re handing across the bar. Wisconsin has been incredible, and, together with Wirtz Beverage, we’ve been falling well behind the demand that now exists there. There are bars and restaurants that we would love to work with that we don't have the volume to support at this time. But with a new brewhouse and cellar expansion already underway, all that is poised to change. We’re allocating plenty of our new brewing capacity for a journey north. So, cheers Wisconsin--more beer is coming.
None of our growth would be possible without the people that support us here at home. Our patrons, our accounts, and our partners that help us form and push this big ball up the hill.
This video is the product of a great time working with friends. The creative minds of Potluck Creative and Good Beer Hunting merged with the brewery culture at Solemn Oath and took on a life of its own during our launches in Milwaukee and Madison.

Sometimes at Solemn Oath we listen to rock and sometimes we listen to rap. On occasion you might hear some jazz, pop, or a splash of early punk. The important thing to realize is that we’re always lively. Always accomplishing something. Always planning for what we hope will not be your favorite new thing, or the brewery’s favorite new thing, but our favorite thing together. Never complacent and always adapting. Changing the world, probably.
